Meriah Crawford is a writer, editor, teacher, and private investigator. As an associate professor at Virginia Commonwealth University, she teaches a variety of writing classes, including creative writing. Her dissertation explored point of view in writing, with a focus on second person and its relation to trauma.

Meriah’s published work includes short fiction in a wide range of genres, two poems, a variety of nonfiction work, and the mixed-genre anthology Trust & Treachery: Tales of Power and Intrigue, which she co-edited.
